The templates that Squarespace provides are created with some built in features that don't have any customizations, they also don't have copy prompts and strategy built in. Our templates are built for beauty and function in mind. It's built for small shops and creatives — a website that will help you stand out with it's features while still being user friendly.

You do not. The only thing I recommend is creating your own Canva account for optional content like logos but it’s not 100% necessary.
